Judicial Associates

 In 2010 the National Judicial College created the honorary position for judicial officers, or retired judicial officers of Judicial Associate to the College and Visiting Fellow to the ANU College of Law.  

The position was initiated to assist the College in progressing  new professional development programs for judicial officers in Australia, including designing programs, facilitating NJCA workshops and participating as a member of NJCA program planning Committees.

The appointee also fulfils the role of Visiting Fellow to the ANU College of Law, interacting with staff and students as appropriate. Judicial Associates are appointed for a period of up to 12 months.
