Terms and Conditions

  1. Program Changes: The NJCA reserve the right to modify the program at any time. Efforts will be made to deliver a program of equivalent standard and value in the event of any adjustments.
  2. Registration: The NJCA may decline any registration received after the closing date or if the maximum capacity has been reached.
  3. Payment: Invoices are due 30 days from the date the registration is made or 14 days prior to the program start date, whichever is sooner. Unpaid registrations, more than 14 days out may be released to waitlisted participants. Registrations not paid within 14 days may be cancelled at the discretion of the NJCA.
  4. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
    1. 30+ Days Before Program Start: Cancellations made more than 30 calendar days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $200 administration fee.
    1. Within 30 Days of Program Start: Cancellations made within 30 calendar days of the start date will be eligible for a 50% refund.
    1. Within 14 Days of the Program Start: Cancellations made within 14 calendar days will be ineligible for any refund.
    1. No-Show Policy: Registrants who fail to attend the program without prior cancellation are not eligible for a refund or credit.
    1. Rescheduling Registration: Any requests to reschedule a registration to a future program are subject to a $200 administration fee. Transfers are subject to availability, NJCA discretion and must be requested at least 15 calendar days before the program start date.
    1. Transferring Registration: Participants may request to transfer a registration to another participant from their court. This can only occur within the same program and is subject to NJCA approval. These requests must be made at least three calendar days prior to the first day of the program.
    1. Exceptions: The NJCA may consider adjusting applicable fees upon request on a case-by-case review basis. A review request may be considered for medical emergencies or other unforeseeable circumstances. The NJCA retain full discretion over the application and outcome of any exception review request.
  5. Insurance: It is recommended that participants obtain insurance covering all associated risks, including travel, accommodation, registration, health, and property. The NJCA will not be held liable for any claims or damages incurred.
  6. Event Cancellation or Delay: The NJCA are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including strikes, labour disputes, weather events, or other unforeseen events. In the event of a full program cancellation by the NJCA, registrants will be eligible for a full refund.
  7. Privacy Policy: The NJCA comply with the Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. Personal information collected is used for the delivery, improvement, and promotion of educational programs. Data is securely stored and managed in line with privacy standards.
